Position Overview

We are seeking a Production Manager to oversee the execution side of our residential remodeling projects.

This role is responsible for managing the production systems behind multiple active projects — including scheduling coordination, subcontractor management, quality control, field accountability, and operational execution.

This is not a “clipboard superintendent” role and not a production-homebuilder environment.

The right candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and capable of creating structure across complex custom projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and field teams.

Responsibilities

Project Oversight

• Oversee multiple active residential remodeling projects simultaneously

• Coordinate project execution from pre-construction through completion

• Monitor schedules, sequencing, and production flow

• Identify issues proactively before they impact schedule or quality

• Maintain accountability across field teams and subcontractors

Field & Trade Coordination

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and field logistics

• Conduct regular site visits and quality control reviews

• Ensure work aligns with plans, specifications, and company standards

• Assist in resolving field conditions and construction challenges

• Support lead carpenters with scheduling, documentation, and problem-solving

Systems & Operations

• Improve operational consistency across projects

• Help refine scheduling, communication, and production systems

• Participate in weekly production planning meetings

• Track project progress and maintain organized documentation

• Contribute to long-term process improvement initiatives

Client Experience

• Maintain professional communication with homeowners

• Help create a calm, organized client experience throughout construction

• Support the company’s high-touch design-build process

• Participate in client meetings as needed

What We Are Looking For

Required

• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• High level of personal accountability and follow-through

Preferred

• Experience in high-end residential remodeling or custom homes

• Strong understanding of residential remodeling and renovation sequencing

• Design-build experience

• Ability to read plans, scopes of work, and construction documentation

• Experience coordinating subcontractors and schedules

• Experience with project management software and digital documentation systems

• Understanding of budgets, job costing, and change management

• Experience working in client-facing environments
